This week Paula Broadwell, my friend, announced her new book, All In: The Education of General David Petraeus (Penguin Press, 2012) which covers the transformational leadership of General David Petraeus.
This book, Paula’s first, has been three years in development with much of that time spent embedded with Petraeus’ and his staff in Afghanistan. In it she covers his career, his intellectual development as a soldier, scholar and diplomat, and his impact on the U.S. military.
For a little background about Paula, you might be interested in a piece I wrote titled “Paula Broadwell: Arc of a Driver” in March 2010 as she was completing work on the manuscript.
Read an excerpt from “All In: The Education of General David Petraeus” by Paula Broadwell with Washington Post staff writer Vernon Loeb.
Congratulations Paula! Well done.
